DESIGN AND
IDENTITY

We recognise the importance of, and local affection for, Stamford’s history and identity. With over 450 listed buildings, the town has a strong character which is as historically important as it is attractive.

Taking this unique heritage as a starting point, Allison Homes is committed to making Monarch Park a worthy new addition to the town, reflecting those essential characteristics that make Stamford recognisable – such as the colour palette and materials of its built form - but taking a 21st century perspective. This would be achieved by incorporating Stamford stone along with timber and bricks suitable for this location, for both new housing and for the public realm.

A full range of high-quality homes for all ages would be provided, from smaller one or two-bedroomed apartments to large, five-bedroomed family homes. This would include an affordable housing provision, fully integrated within the overall new community.

The design and layout of our homes benefit from our ongoing research and feedback

from our customers to ensure that they are a best fit for modern living. Our aim is to provide flexible spaces that cater for our customers’ changing needs – especially in a post-Covid world.

Our homes will also meet ‘Secured by Design’ standards – the official police security initiative that works to ensure buildings and their surroundings are safe to live, work, shop and visit.
