As you’re aware, Allison Homes submitted a planning application to Rutland County Council for the Monarch Park proposal, which forms the western part of the ‘Stamford North’ sustainable urban extension. The development would provide much needed new homes and facilities to support the growth and prosperity of Stamford over the coming decades.
Please be aware that site survey works will commence on Monday 22 August 2022. This involves trial trenching across large areas of the site to carry out an archaeological survey. Taking place alongside this will be site investigations that will help determine the ground condition, soil depth and whether there is any contamination on the site associated with the former brickworks.
It is anticipated this work will take around four weeks to complete, and during this time contractors will be accessing the site from Little Casterton Road.
Although these excavations work will be shallow in nature, anyone choosing to access the site during this time should take additional care.
